it's my 3rd day working at PWP. haven't been updating for quite awhile. got posted here and i'm happy here. pple here r frenly~

but not much things to do. other than monday, which is a killer day, the rest of the week is quiet... just like now... make me so sleepy....

should have brought my essay here and read and write..~ i'll remember to bring tmr.... zzzzz

At Work on a Saturday (yet again!!!)


Lol, i'm at Parkway Branch now.... it's my 2nd week working this month. Nth much to do now, so decided to update my blog abit.... I know i haven been doing that consistently. I haven even got the time to check my mail... Everyday is just work, sleep, work, sleep...... So tiring....

Work Work Work

Hui Ling has joined ESP as CRO (Customer Relationship Officer) early this month. Though now we're officially colleagues again (we were once colleagues 5 years back...), things aren't the same like 5 years back..... Basically, we're too busy to talk, unlike the past... when we could go for 2 hours lunch breaks, and can talk non stop the whole day..... Now, we have our own stuff to do. But luckily, we can go lunch together most of the time.... I think soon she'll be transferred to Citiblue (she's currently at Citigold) and then, we wun be able to lunch together anymore..... =(

Eugenia's attachment is ending next Friday. That's sad!!! I don't know what to buy for her... Can't remember if she likes Tigger, Eeyore or Piglet.... shitzzz...

Sisley (SB) has just tendered her resignation yesterday.... Then i heard that Jane (SRM) has also tendered. Hmmmm, the 3 of us have the same boss, and i wonder if it's the reason or not... Lol.

Work is getting busier and busier.... and my school has started for almost a month already. My first assignment is going to be due soon. I have done 1/3 of it... I better buck up this weekend and try to complete it... =)

Wat A Day.....

while on the train to work this morning, i felt something wet at my feet between Kallang and Lavender station..... n i looked to my right........ an indian woman was vomitting!!!!!! and the vomit splashed on my right foot... Argghhhh... wat luck!! i was wearing my new heels.. (it's only the 2nd time im wearing that pair) and it got dirty with vomit!!! she was holding on to a plastic bag, but she didn't open it up to vomit. she was vomitting ON the plastic bag.

was super pissed. eugenia was waiting for me at city hall and she said that my face was black like charcoal..... yessss, im super pissed!!!! went to the toilet to wash. cursed while i washed my foot, and she was helping me wash my heels and dry it under the hand dryer.

n that whole day was so bad.... talk about monday bluesss...... $&~*$@~^

ps: if u r not feeling well next time, pls do not take public transport. if u wanna take public transport, pls hold on to a plastic bag. if u wanna hold on to a plastic bag, pls vomit IN it, not ON it.

At Work Now (On a Saturday!!!)

im doing my one and onli saturday shift for Jan 2006 at Great World now.... reached here at 9.10am... got nth to do, so decided to update my blog.

i had Big Breakfast with 2 PBs from Cap Square, feeling so full now.... so long never eat Mac alreadi... n since it's my 1st time here and it feels nice to see someone i know around. there's 2 PBs from Cap Sq, 1 PB from Esp and 1 SB from Esp.... =)

work at Esp lately has been rather smooth, not much hiccups, not say there isn't... but i guess it's just part and parcel of working life. n all i gotta do is to ENDURE!!! pple there aren't rily that mean, but surely there are some black sheeps around... i just need to b more careful in my words and actions~~~ im quite close to the Harvester team, cos they're just seated behind me. All of them are nice pple, esp Miss R, whom i always consult whenever i have problems on UT.

im starting school in another 2wks' time. went for orientation last wk. it was kind of boring. (which orientation isn't?? lol) i dunno how my classmates wuld be like. pray hard that they'll b nice pple, friendly and helpful! gonna go back school later after work cos there's a workshop for Psychology students on how to write a good report. i hope it'll be useful for me! timetable will onli be out after the 25th. let's hope i wun get a sucky timetable.

there's going to b a Pajamas party tonite... jus me, gloria and zebby. i hope they haven forgotten about it. we'll just chat up like in the past, and have lots of fun drinking, eating and catching up! wanted to ask hui ling along, but she's too shy.... (yaaaaaaa.... hahaha)

lately i've been rather lost. hopefully i can find my own way out. love life! love myself! haha....

A loss of a good teacher

my sec school teacher, Ms Devi, passed away yesterday. received the news this morning when gloria msged me... heard that she had a heart attack.

met her and zeb after work at bugis mrt n we walked to st joseph's church at victoria street. saw quite alot of ex kceans there.... sort of like a gathering.

ms devi was lying in the coffin. she looked pretty much the same, except slightly bloated than the last time i saw her, which was 6 yrs ago.

thinking back.........
she was the one who made me understand the beauty of english literature. she taught my class in sec 4. we were studying To Kill A Mockingbird for O levels that time, and after 1 whole year in sec 3 reading that book, i still could not understand what was the book about. it was ms devi who analysed every minor detail which made me understand the book. since sec 1 till sec 3, i was always having boderline marks. but during o levels, i scored an amazing b3. it was the best result i had in my 4 years in kc..............

ms devi, thank u veri much... u wil always b missed by all of us.

it was raining heavily non stop on sunday till now, just like heaven is crying for someone...... now i know who heaven is crying for....

My 1st Saturday of 2006

my 1st saturday of the year...

was supposed to go roller blading with wei wen n alan n their frens. but the sky was so cloudy when i woke up... so i suggested postponing it... cos i duwan to waste everyone's time to go down to east coast, den get disappointed.

den mingxiong asked me out... we decided to watch Elizabethtown at Cine at 1.50... while taking the escalator up, i bought a bag for CNY and a xiao ding dang toy... hehe... in the cinema, smth irritating happened. it was full house n we were seated 3rd row from the back. halfway thru the show, i saw a flash light. at first i tot it was my eyes playing a trick at me, so i din bother. den abt 5 mins ltr, i saw the flash light again. den i realised that someone seating in the front rows was taking photos!! i was super pisssssed.... but jus kept quiet. 5 mins later, a 3rd flash light came n i couldn take it. but b4 i could react, someone from another row shouted "CAN U PLS STOP TAKING PHOTOS?". i cant believe that someone would actually b so thick skin to take photos in a cinema when its a full house....

in the evening, i went to a lion dance dinner at Haig Road with my family n relatives n mani others. it was Zong He Lion & Dragon Dance Troupe's 15th Anniversary and Daddy was the Oragnising Chairman for the event. wasn't exactly that bored, as i expected.... alot of performances, like lion dance, dragon dance, and ang mors practising wu shu.... so cool!!! dinner served was not bad... quite nice for such an event.
